A/Prof Jawn Lim, Deputy Director, Planning Office, Singapore Institute of Technology
Associate Professor Jawn Lim is an innovation strategist and a judge for awards in design, technology and branding. At the Singapore Institute of Technology, he teaches Organisation & Management, Interior Design, Hotel Design and Digital Experience Design. Currently, he is the Deputy Director in charge of digital transformation and campus design requirements and simultaneously Chief Design Officer for the Singapore Productivity Centre. Previously, he worked for Award winning architects such as Frank Gehry, Arquitectonica and Marmol Radziner. He holds a Master of Architecture from the SCI-Arc, an Advance Certificate in Management, Innovation and Technology from MIT and a Doctor of Design from Harvard.
A/Prof Steven Wong, Deputy Cluster Director, Infocomm Technology, Singapore Institute of Technology
Associate Professor Steven Wong currently acting as the Deputy Cluster Director for Infocomm Technology at Singapore Institute of Technology. Associate Professor Steven Wong is also the Programme Director at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) where he spearheaded SIT’s flagship degree programmes in Software Engineering and Information Security.
Steven obtained his undergraduate degree with 1st class honours in Computer Engineering from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and his PhD from the University of Edinburgh. Steven have over a decade of academic and industry experience, and was involved in several multi-million dollar funded research projects.
Daphne Boey, Assistant Director, Built Environment, IMDA Singapore
Daphne is currently an Assistant Director for the Built Environment Cluster looking after IMDA’s Smart Estates Initiative. With a focus on technology and innovation, IMDA works with other agencies and built environment related companies to identify opportunities for smart estate developments in Singapore and regionally. Efforts to drive digital transformation in the built environment cluster include facilitating technology partnerships and supporting innovation through ideation and projects.
Previously, Daphne was involved in the nationwide Digital TV Switchover project to transit Singapore from analogue to digital TV broadcasting and to facilitate digital TV reception for households, which included the roll-out of the DTV network infrastructure and administering the Digital TV assistance package.

Ulf Pettersson is the Chief Technology Officer for Info-Software, Electronics, ST Engineering. Ulf has throughout his career focused on architecture and development of real-time Command and Control (C2) systems and underlying software platforms. Ulf’s career started with development of defense related C2 systems, but in recent years his work has been focus on application of C2 in commercial areas such as smart airport, smart hospitals and smart estate.

Alex Ng, Managing Director, Spaze Ventures
Alex is the Managing Director of Spaze Ventures, where he leads the investment to help entrepreneurs launch and grow their startup. He has invested in more than 18 startups, helped them to expand overseas and raise the next round of funding.
Alex has about a decade of experience from both the public and private sectors, where he helps companies grow. He was most recently the Vice President of Korvac Holdings, a regional technology company that specializes in payment processing and consumer data. He was responsible for corporate development, government relations, strategic alliances and regional business development, where he helped Korvac to expand into new markets and achieved the “Most Impactful in Asia” award at the 2012 ICT Awards.
Bryan Long, Founder, Testing Ground
Bryan Long is founder of Testing Ground, a venture and people builder that helps companies, startups and individuals compete in new categories and make new money. He was previously the co-founder of Stacck, a SaaS startup, which counts Eduardo Saverin, Co-founder of Facebook, as one of its investors, and which he sold recently. He is also organiser of the Singapore Lean Startup Circle and founding president of the Association of Lean Startups.
Bryan is a fervent evangelist of Lean Startup. He has organised Singapore Lean Startup Circle, Lean Startup Machine and many other lean startup workshops in Singapore. He has mentored hundreds of team at numerous startup events including Startup Weekend and Founders Institute. He has helped employees from Citi, Aviva, P&G, OCBC, SPH and other companies to experience Lean Startup hands-on. Deborah Tan-Pink, Co-CEO, Smartup
Before plunging into the world of tech, Deborah Tan-Pink spent more than a decade in lifestyle publishing. She led the launch of Cosmopolitan in Singapore after the MDA lifted a 22-year ban on the women's magazine in 2011, and spent 2 years as its Editor-in-Chief. In 2013, she left the comfortable confines of publishing to start her own content agency and built a portfolio of work which included content for L'Oreal, Shiseido, Volkswagen, and Tatler.
Deborah is now Co-CEO of SmartUp.io, a learning experience platform founded by the Founder's Forum in the UK, Brent Hoberman, Frank Meehan, and Henry Lane-Fox, and co-founder of LearnMedia.io, a content agency focused on developing learning and training content for corporates.
Elizabeth Wu, Co-founder & COO, Trehaus
Elizabeth Wu is an educator, entrepreneur and mother of 3. She believes that it takes a village to raise a child and a community that keeps parents sane, and she’s found her tribe in Trehaus, where work-life integration is a reality for working parents like her. Prior to co-founding Trehaus, Elizabeth’s experience in education spanned across all levels from early years enrichment to tertiary. At tertiary level, she taught Project Work, Enterprise, Communications, Critical Thinking and Current Affairs. She is often consulted for curriculum design and development, and lectures on an adjunct basis at educational institutions. In her free time, Elizabeth writes on a regular basis on the topic of parenting and has been featured in various platforms. Soon Joo has extensive experience in private and public sectors. She is currently the Chief Futurist and Chief Research Officer at the SkillsFuture Singapore. Soon-Joo leads research and development projects in the areas of Future of Work and Future of Learning. Her research interests include capitalism in the digital economy, new economy firms, skills ecosystem and skills policies. Some of her more recent projects include the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled data analytic to predict the impact of technological adoption on the organisation of work and learning at workplaces, and the gig economy work arrangement and learning of professional occupations. When she is not busy thinking about the future, she paints to exercise her right brain.
